Scroll Exhibition
Through thousands of years of historical development, ink
painting derived its unique character from oriental art. It
represents a transformation process of observation and meditation
of the artist. The vitality and inner experience of the artist
flow out of the tip of the brush and the image and artist become
one unity.
The purpose of the International Asian Sumi-e Brush Painting
Contest and Exhibition held in Japan is to promote art education,
and to foster the sense of beauty by encouraging submission
of ink brush paintings, so to advance international cultural
exchange which will help to build a better and more harmonius
global community.
Many of our members have participated in this annual contest.
It is a great pleasure to present the artwork of awarded artists
for this international competition. The size of scroll is approximately
15 " x 60".
